Yes I have it working with asterisk. I did it first with the .NET code on a PC as the proxy then I used the source code provided in the other forum, compiled and have the proxy loaded locally on my asterisk box. So far I haven't had any problem with it. |

| this is great, but here's a suggestion. i have a hacked buffalo linkstation running linux. if we could run the proxy app on Linux instead of Windows that would be great. then i could use my linux thin client for this trick. any chance this would get ported to linux? even a simple command line proxy daemon would do. and if this is just a stright proxy trick, and squid be used? |

It would be really nice if we can run this as a service. |
This CAN be run as a service. At least ala Firedaemon (which runs any windows EXE as a service). But once you configure it the 1st time and check 'Save Settings' you can just run it from startup folder, if that's what you want.

Firedaemon is a paid service. Even if I put it in the startup folder, I need to login right? |

Downloaded app this morning and plugged in the information needed. It works great; now I am able to utilise my ATA again.
Wondering if there is a way to proxy another number on the same machine. Before I was utilising two numbers on one ATA until the 9th of June update. Just have to do more reading; definitely call quality has improved with the ATA and I am able to utilise my facsimile machine again. No more hit and miss on the dongle for now =)... _________________ That's my quarter's worth, but not enough to call someone who really cares at a pay telephone booth... |

Hi all,
Using the MJmd5 method I got my RTP300 running again! Yay!
But, I don't get an incoming ring. Did anyone figure what to do?
TIA! |

Anon,
I have the same exact issue with my Pap2-na. When the call comes in, I can see that it shows a status of incoming call in the log, however, the phone does not ring. If you do pick up the phone, does it also pick up the call?
What kind of phone are you using? |

Well, I didn't do anything, but walk away from it for a while, now it rings! I wish everything worked out that way for me!
Sorry, but I can't tell you what happened or help since I didn't do anything.
Good Luck to you though, others have this issue. I'm sure someone will figure it out. |

Anon,
Lucky you man..lol I wish things were like that for you. Anyway, are you using a cordless or wired phone? If cordless, what brand are you using?
Thanks, |

I am using a cordless phone. It's a cheapie one from Drugmart.
It's a 2.4 GHz made by COBY model CT-p8200
I think it cost $19.99. We liked it so much that we went back and bought another one! |
