| does anyone have an idea of why MJ could be ilegal in Mexico or any other country? There is company in Mexico that sells "modified" magicJack at $120 dollars each and they were telling me that I had to exchange my MJ purchased in the USA for theirs because mine was illegal in Mexico. They said that the mexican FCC can trace my MJ number and I could be sued by the government. They say that every MJ they sell is registered and approved by the mexican FCC and that is why they are charging $120 each. I say it's BS, what do you guys think? |

lol.. But some ISPs from other countries block the usage of the magicJack though.. Examples of the countries are, Korea, Dubai, and Trinidad and Tobago.. The ISPs on those said countries are blocking the magicJack and they don't give an explanation.. (Maybe competetion issues) _________________

How can the ISP block usage of MJ? Do they have to know your telephone number? |

I finally received a letter from the mexican FCC telling me that magicJack is totally legal for use or sale in Mexico without any type of conditions or reservations. |
