in Dubai - United Arab Emirates - the etisalat - and Du communications blocked MJ.. 
Yet there is always away around it
and i've been using it for mnths

| I sent a magic-jack to my brother in Dubai. But looks like it is blocked by ISP. Is there a workaround to make it work ? Any info will be really appreciated. Thanks. |

My brother is using it in Iran and it is excellent, except for one little problem - We have tested it on several PC's and with several phone sets and in several different locations, but my brother can not receive calls. When I call him, almost immediately the voicemail comes on.
The only constant in all this has been the ISP - the ISP at all our tests has been parsonline, the largest ISP in Iran. Could it be something with them that's blocking things. But then everything else works - it just doesn't make sense. Any help would be appreciated.

From what you're saying, your brother from Iran can only make inbound calls to US and he can't receive calls. Ask your brother check and set "ring count" for answering is at least 4 rings. That is the phone has to ring at least 4 times before the answering machine kicks in.

| Magic Jack works great in Vicenza, Italy using TKS Internet. All calls go through and I have received calls from the US when I have my laptop connected. |

| Works great in Lima Peru and in Ensenada Mexico. My dad has given magicjacks to a few friends in both places and they work great. It is my primary home line here in San Diego. |
