Hello Guys, i am new in this MJ user.

I buy one a few weeks ago. I read before buying it that it can be use on Intel Mac Plataform.

When i plug it in there is a ICON of MJ... i double click it and this message appears..

"Cannot install MJ, install process already in progress"

so i try this solution i found in Apple Discussion added by a guy having the same error.

"In a nut shell I was getting the permission denied message. Apple suggested I reset my permissions under the reset password tab. This is done by inserting the snow leopard disc and booting up to the disc."

The only thing is that i am using a Mac Book Pro 10.5.8 Leopard not the snow leopard.

hope anyone can help.

Confused

I was going crazy trying to fix this same exact issue. After researching for hours and hours I could not find a solution. However I did find something that worked. If you go to ~/.magicJack and right click and select get info. Make sure that your permissions are set right. I noticed that on mine it said Custom Access rather than read/write. After changing this, AMAZINGLY it WORKED! Please let me know if it solves any issue for you. I hope you can use this information.
