At the following page
http://www.magicjack.com/1/fixes.asp
the magicjack folks claim that if you install the "downgrade" version "It will damage software."
Any idea what "damage" they are talking about? I would think that the worse thing that could happen is that you might have to run the latest upgrade to get back to where you were before downgrading?
I guess they could be implying that if things are working ok, then they might not be after the downgrade?

I dunno, but I'm going to have to get serious about fooling around with the darn things 'cause both of mine barely work after the latest "Lucky You" upgrade.
I've run the downgrade and sometimes they work; other times they just kick me out and then I have a miserable time rebooting them. Since I'm not really dependent on them, I haven't gotten around to troubleshooting. As if I really know how to troubleshoot them. |

I haven't run a downgrade in a long time, but when I did, the process was to format the MJ first and THEN run the downgrade. As for "damaging software," not likely. If you're concerned, delete all the MJ files from your computer and clean the registry of all MJ and Tigernet entries. _________________ Visit the Thin Client Forum -- Now open at:
