When you get the thin client and you fire it up (connect a monitor and keyboard the first time so you can check it out). If you see an icon that has a white background with coloured letters "V", "N" and "N", then you have "Virtual Network Computing" or VNC. More info at www.realvnc.com where you can download the free personal edition.
Installing RealVNC puts both the "server" and the "client". You run the client on your PC and the server on your thin client. On the client, right click, click Add New Client and type in the ip address of your thin client (that's why you need a monitor on the TC, hover over the VNC icon and you'll see the IP address of the TC).
RealVNC is fast and responsive. You can even control your TC remotely from any place you have a PC and Internet connection in the world.
Have fun. |

| How do you do it with a monitor and keyboard. I only have my laptop on the network. Is there a way to make a self booting flash drive. |

| If you need to check your local classified ads or thrift shops. In my area you can get all three (Monitor, keyboard, mouse) for less than $10 bucks. |
