|

Hello everyone!
I bought MagicJack yesterday and I already bought magicfeatures because it seemed too good to pass up also. Anyways, I have a AT&T base and 2 handset system connected to my MJ. It has a built in answering machine and voicemail indicator light and I am wondering how I can disable MJ Voicemail? Also, if I choose to continue using MJ voicemail, how can I make it so that the voicemail indicator light on the phone still works?
Lastly, when on the phone and I receive a message on Skype, I hear the blip noise that skype makes but instead of it coming out of my computer speakers, it comes out over the phone if I'm on a call! What gives?
Appreciative,
FBERNAR |

SKYPE
====
If you plan to separately continue to use Skype via your headset just go to the audio options in the Skype dialer and make sure the Speaker and Microphone settings are set to your computer speakers.
You will probably ALSO want to go to "Start/Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices/Audio" and make sure the default Sound Playback and Sound Recording devices are set to your computer speakers.
If you decide you also want to use your phone for Skype calling, you can try the Skyjack plugin.

| Wow the voicemail indicator is pretty amazing! No chance to be able to hit play on it though to be able to hear it right? |

| Yes - you will just pick up your phone and dial 98 to hear the voice mail message. You don't need to touch your computer. |

| You can use the free MagicRingForever tool at http://tools.pcphonesoft.com to creatively disable the voicemail timeout. |

| It's under development along with a number of other new separate products and tools that will be rolling out this summer. I've made a note to send you a PM as soon as the VM message waiting product is ready. |
