Hello guys!!.

First of all, I really appreciate your time to read my question.

I was using the T5710 800Mhz/256F/256R with MagicJack before. But,
I got an error message while MagicJack upgrade. So, I am not able to
use this T5710 now. I am not sure I think that is not enough memory
on 256MB Flash module. So I have a question here.

My T5710 800Mhz/256F/256R, Is it possible to upgrade 512F/512R?
Anyone have been upgraded flash memory before?

Thanks and have a wonderful day.

Jay.

Have you read thru the stickies about removing unneeded applications?

Also you may want to try turning off EWF by right clicking on the green icon near the clock and selecting disable. Then do a reboot and try plugging the MJ back in and let it upgrade. Afterward you can turn EWF back on.

And you if still want to upgrade, it is a relatively simple procedure covered in the sticky -

http://www.magicjacksupport.com/hp-thin-client-modifications-upgrades-for-magicjack-t1493.html

Physically taking out one memory chip and adding the other is very easy. Some would consider flashing the new OS on to the flash C: drive with a USB flash drive to be the hardest part, but it is straight forward.

Hi, VaHam

I had a burning my time to fix old T5710 800Mhz/256F/256R with
your direction.

(1) Turn EWF off and reboot

(2) Remove previous MagicJack programs in C: Flash Memory
Free space 56MB remained

(3) Plug the MagicJack and MagicJack downloaded new version
from Internet

(4) Turn EWF on and Reboot.

(5) MagicJack is pop up automatically and working very well.

I am very happy now and My MJ is working well on the
T5710 800Mhz/256F/256R.

Thanks and Have a wonderful day.
