| I am interested if anyone has used the rebuild_mj program to change an expired MJ's serial number? I do not have a spare MJ to try rebuild_mj on. |

| Could this lead to cloning mjs? Cause i have a burnt out mi and a old one that's no longer active if i could reprogram one that'd be awesome |

You could set your serial number to anything you desire.
Set your desired MJ serial number:

Reflash your magicjack

C:\rebuild_mj\bin>rebuild_mj.exe -f magicJack.iso

MAKE SURE! magicJack is not running !!!
You CAN NOT turn off PC or remove magicJack
during process. That will cause fatal errors
##################################################
rebuild all=1, target iso image file= magicJack.iso
device id=6e6-c200
iso image = 1722368 bytes, 420 sectors
flash_type=0x75
retrive preset serial number= A9210000031337
performing fully recovery ..
erasing all data, please wait for about 30 sec.....
burning magicJack CD patch .....
Successfully!
burn magicJack product pages .....
downloading utility patch .....
reset flash memory map .....
downloading serial number: A9210000031337
write sn=A9210000031337
burning CD image .....
completed, please unplug your device and plug it back

Remove/reinsert your magicjack.
Format your magicjack drive as FAT.
Start your magicjack
