When using my magicjack with my wireless phone on my xp computer ,

I've found that connecting the MJ to a powered USB hub cleared my choppy voice problems early on. Some computers don't supply enough power to keep the MJ happy.
Once, my dog pulled the power plug out and of the USB hub and my outgoing voice became interrupted after a few minutes into my calls. The calls would start out good, but became choppy as the conversation went on. I didn't find the problem for a while, since the light was on and everything looked normal.
I'd also suggest that you check to see that your XP is running Service Pack 3. I've seen others with problems that were running Service Pack 2. |
