I purchased a HP Thin Client t5710 800mhz/256/256 back in May 2009 (it's now Feb. 2010) so I could turn off the desktop computer and leave the Thin Client on 24/7. The calls were choppy and echoey. I tried increasing the RAM to 512 but that hasn't helped. So I basicially don't use it, but would really like to.

When I use the same magicjack on my desktop computer connected to the same router the call quality is excellent. Can anyone recommend some changes either in hardware, computer or software changes or adjustments that might alleviate my problem.

(I noticed on ebay that the place I bought the T.C. from is still selling the same item with the same ram and memory.)

Generally I think that the "tricks" for solving this problem on a desktop/laptop work for thin client.

Make sure you don't have any power saving features active on the thin client.

I have a 5710 and it worked fine. Works better on ATA with proxy on thin client

Might want to review the Thin Client thread.

I set MJ to high priority every time I log on in the morning, I don't know how to make the computer do it on it's own, Microsoft is very powerful and I must reset this everyday.
